31  Forum / Ozzy / Re: Wreckage of My Past Release Date? on: September 14, 2010, 10:36:02 pm
This was out on September 8th:

He discusses the movie in this interview, so it's still coming I guess.

Nothing wrong with paying attention to acts of war on American soil. I would think someone nuts for whom it didn't click. It was bizarre on so many levels. Aside of the war for independence and Pearl Harbor, what war was ever fought on American soil? We are in unique times, this generation.

When were civilians (moms, dads, neighbors, friends, husbands, wives, sisters, brothers) including children ( http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=12105 )ever used in the commission of an act of war? ...One might say Waco was an example of that. Was it okay to kill kids to eradicate "the cult in the compound?" Why not just starve them out instead of do what was done? (shivers)

...This is a victim of the Oklahoma City bombing. She was not guilty of any crime:

A six year old, arched back from CS gas used on the adults without care for the effect on children.

People don't learn. Here's a recent situation involving religion + military: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-20001329-504083.html

Religion + military leads to zeal leads to insanity. It usually stimulates acts of extremism and terrorism from people who think they're sane when they clearly are not. People do heinous things believing it serves some larger purpose. Terrorism. Scary stuff. Maybe you should look into working in a field related to it Missy. Not everyone can handle this stuff.

Oh yea. Hee hee hee hee. Batting my eyes. Looking really voluptuous and dreamy into all the guys eyes here. Or not. Whatever. I don't know WHAT that was all about. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO serious. You know? I need to get back to my soap opera's.

I was driving down the road to the gates of my work listening to the radio with a sense of unreality at what I was hearing. When I got inside my building I watched in a break area what was happening and couldn't believe my eyes. That day many people left and went home. I did not see any management until after lunchtime when things had for the most part stopped happening. Which was weird. Only 1 in like 8 even came in that day. I stayed. For what turned out to be around 4 days, half the time going home to sleep four hours and in the end napping at my desk. All I can say is this, I saw many men and women that day on bent knee hurting. Sharing their grief over other losses that got triggered with the trauma of that day. I saw some leave, but many stay. And those people stood up and took care of business in ways that would have made you proud.

What happened was unforgivable. Let us never forget 9/11 nor the innocent souls who died that day. God bless them all, and their families. And God Bless America.
34  Forum / Ozzy / Re: FIRST LEG OF ARENA DATES RELEASED - OZZY SCREAM WITH ROB HALFORD!!!! on: September 12, 2010, 10:33:20 pm
wow i guess ozzy does not like PA. now i have to go to the izod center in jersey is that close to ny i think. dont wanna miss him.     Cry Cry Sad me soo sad about this.   does this mean he is only in north america for the month? im confused about that. do ya think hell come back to the states.

These aren't the only dates for the North American Tour. They clearly say that more dates will be added eventually. Also, this is only the First Leg. I say Ozzy will come to Philly at least once and probably/possibly DC as well. I live in PA and I'm going to try to get Meet and Greet tickets for the New York show, then other tickets for the NJ show. I will be going to as many as possible.

Awesome about your seeing as many shows as possible MrTT. I hope they do bring it closer for you too PaOzzygrrll56.

If all stay healthy it WILL HAPPEN!!!
Best metal band ever!

Beyond health, there has to be the desire to create a worthwhile album not just go through the hoops. Turned all the way up, hell yea. They will blow us all away. Nobody is their equivalent.

I'm not sure who is doing the rating when you say it's underrated. But I like it too.Breaking All the Rules is my favorite song from that album. Fire in the Sky, which Ozzy has been playing by fan request, and of course the Wizard and other people's favorite Bloodbath in Paradise are also on it. I don't personally like that song myself, it gives me the creeps. I like Crazy Babies, Demon Alcohol, and Hero too.

Songs I love from the July '10 remastered Crucible:

02 - One Will
03 - Hearts Of Darkness  Cool
04 - Golgotha  Kiss
06 - Crystal  Grin
08 - Wrath Of God
10 - Rock The World Forever
11 - Crucible  Wink

You can listen to the songs on Youtube. /user/Thomas99Anderson has Crucible Remixed & Remastered uploaded.  Here's one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJ3M32XWu9c

When Halford steps on stage you can't help but see the genius. The man delivers pure rock every time, in Priest and out. I love the man. The veil of sound he and his band weaves is freaking beautiful. There are moments of utter perfection.

Right. This was in addition to their European leg.

How many legs are we talking here...

Mitch Schneider posted it. Guess that's how you make the big bucks.  http://www.msopr.com/?q=node/57

OZZY OSBOURNE will return to North America for a month-long arena tour launching November 12 in Victoria, B.C. and concluding December 12 in Minneapolis. These shows--in support of his album SCREAM (Epic Records) and latest single “Life Won’t Wait”--are part the of the Rock Legend’s in-progress 18-month world tour on which he’s earning some of the best live reviews of his career (including raves for new guitarist, Gus G).  HALFORD, featuring legendary Judas Priest front man, Rob Halford, will perform on all dates.  The first leg of arena dates will mark OZZY’s first headlining North American tour since 2007’s trek for his Black Rain album. Tickets for the Live Nation-produced tour go on sale beginning Friday, September 17.

42  Forum / Ozzy / Re: Is Gus G going to cut the grade? on: September 08, 2010, 11:01:41 pm
Between Blizzard and Diary there were 14 months release date to release date. In fact Ozzy's first four albums came one a year for four years.

Once Gus has tied down vintage Ozzy, which it appears he has, I don't see anything keeping keep him or any of the rest of the band from dabbling. If Gus writes, he probably dabbles with sounds every day while he practices. Touring doesn't supercede writing. Otherwise, explain Diary so soon after Blizzard. Randy & Ozz were certainly touring then.

I'd like to see that creativity and sound soon. Nothing says there can't be an album in a years time if the guys have that drive and the creativity is flowing. That would be awesome. Scream is Zakk. I want to see Gus. I think he has talent, I'd like to see it set free.

Ozzy hired Zakks replacement. I want to hear what he can do. Why wait?
43  Forum / Ozzy / Re: Is Gus G going to cut the grade? on: September 08, 2010, 06:05:19 pm
Gus G has surpassed Zakk in every way in my eyes.

As Ozzy said in an interview, Gus is playing Zakks material right now for the most part. I want to hear what he can write with Blasko and Tommy Clufetos and Adam Wakeman. I hope they hit the studio soon.
44  Forum / General Discussions / Re: So,....Yeah,..I think "I LOVE YOU ALL" ,..on Ozzy`s Scream ....it`s a goodbye on: September 07, 2010, 02:29:40 pm
I believe I replied to the (unkind and repeated) suggestion that Ozzy is bowing out of the music scene  rather nicely. Ozzy says DIRECTLY THE OPPOSITE. Ozzy is loved, is in a very creative and positive and fruitful mode, and I for one am thrilled. Spreading rumors about him around like the clap is not okay.

Baiting (via name calling and attempts to humiliate, now with a clone) instead of a discussion of facts just shows how clearly this is a head-game for a twisted mind.

Ladies and gentlemen: thank you and good night. Elvis has left the building.

 Roll Eyes

Did I really say that? I think I said that your insults were harassment to Ozzy fans, myself being one. And that is in fact what I think alot of the harassment on this site amounts to. People who spend their time on Blabbermouth.net posting insults about Ozzy come here and harass his fans. And make it so they don't want to come to his website any more.

Oh yea. I also said you were not appropriate in attacking me given I don't even know who you are. And I did say I find it interesting that you came onto this thread insulting me heartily with FOF given you don't know me at all.  So, why is that the case. No wait, this has already sunk WAY past the point of something I even care about.

My point to you is that NO, OZZY IS NOT RETIRING. NO HE IS NOT DONE AFTER SCREAM, NOR AFTER A SABBATH ALBUM. That might be your wish, but it is not my wish. Nor is it the wish of millions of fans of Ozzy worldwide.

Have you seen the Denmark footage? There has to be at least five thousand fans who lined up to see him perform. It's the same thing everywhere he goes. Ozzy is unique in the music field, he always will be.

You know, if you spent less time eroding down into insults and more time talking about real stuff, you'd be a much more pleasant personality FOF.
