Going with Industrial. Solely because of projects like Von Thronstahl (Martial Industrial) and Der Blutharsch (Martial Industrial)

At this point, I'm leaning towards Arghoslent's 'Hornets of the Pogrom'. I never thought a Death Metal album would ever come out to be my favourite release of the year, but goddamnit, they did it! An amazing album from probably the genre's most controversial band.

Meh to both (especially Deicide) so I'm gonna say ARGHOSLENT
Srsly, if you haven't heard their newest album (Hornets of the Pogrom), get off your ass. Best Death Metal album of the last few years, easily.

Didn't list any Death Metal cause I honestly don't listen to it much these days aside from Arghoslent and Astomatous. Currently waiting for the need to listen to Doom to completely consume me for a few days...but who knows when. ;__;

Satanic Warmaster is fucking awful. Rest of your list is good to go though. ^___^
My top 5: Peste Noire Kriegsmaschine Ornaments of Sin (their side of the split with Sombre Chemin OWNS!) Spite Extreme Wing Wolfsmond
Those would be my top 5 BM bands, or at least the ones that don't play Depressive/Suicidal Black Metal like Austere, Lyrinx, etc.

Their debut ranks usually amongst people as their favourite Peste Noire release when not looking at the incredible demos released prior.
damn..id be way interested in checking that out. Yeah I mean I can't really get into the songs on their myspace but you always say how good they are and your opinion on bands is better than a lot of other people so I am also interested in giving them another shot http://youtube.com/watch?v=DxChi-2PXRc Try that one. The clip is just the band emblem so just open another tab/window and browse while it plays. Also another one from the album: http://youtube.com/watch?v=CjEiRYUPI5MProduction's a bit rougher on this track but works great.

'Towards The Great Unknown' - Austere
Excellent Depressive Black Metal track (6minute sample - full track is over 11minutes) from Australia's Austere taken from their upcoming split with the UK's Lyrinx. Going to be one of the top releases for this year, definitely.
