I think it's taking so long because they realize how much they fucked up with 07 and 08 (not bands, but the wa the fest was handled.)  I think they're planning something big to make it up to the fans.  I could be way off though, who knows...

I have finally decided to come back to this forum after being away for so long.  Still no info on Ozzfest 2010, huh?  I hope it will be announced soon (as I'm sure everybody is.)  I know it can't possibly be as bad as the Mayhem lineup is (with a few exceptions)

I have been meaning to check them out.  Thanks for reminding me!   ::smile

I got my ticket last weekend and my show is in August as well.  I still got decent seats but if I were you I would get them asap.

I will be going to Mayhem unless Ozzfest pulls bigger names than this, which I highly doubt will happen.
