For me, it's all those deathcore/metalcore/"emo" bands this board actively despises.

Winds of Plague & Despised Icon are easily my two favorites out of all that stuff.

I fucking love Despised Icon. Part of the reason I went to summer slaughter.

Summer Slaughter was a fucking blast for me man, and Despised Icon brought what I called the "party mosh" as there was regular moshing going on, dancing, stagedives, crowdsurfing, easily the most energetic performance of the entire show, IMO of course. & I have to show some love to my boys in Whitechapel, good set and pretty much the reason I didn't have to pay to get in.

Have to show some MORE love to my friends in Impending Doom as well, hella good guys, took me along with them to a Corpus show after a show here in SA. Free shit ftw!

Despised Icon had a great crowd response in louisville, and gave a great show. I'd seen them once before opening for Hatebreed, but I had no idea who they were at the time. They absolutely killed it this time around.

Only bad thing bad that show was that something happened either during or after The Faceless' set and Vader only got 2 fucking songs.

Other than that, all the other bands were amazing.

Oh yeah, Whitechapel started playing while I was still in line and some dude behind me started yelling "hurry up I'm gonna miss whitecastle!!"
