Because we have a major traveling festival every summer (maybe 2 this summer). And because we have Maryland Death Fest and New England Metal and Hardcore Fest. Honestly though, Americans can't complain because we get pretty amazing metal tours every fall on top of Ozzfest and Mayhem in the summer.

As cool as that would be Quorthorn is dead, so Bathory can't happen and Varg Vikernes never toured with Burzum, and I think he's on a hiatus from metal right now. I'm going to stop trying to punch holes in everything though.

Some of these bands are playing fests in Europe at some point, so I don't know if they would work out, none of them are on major tours though (and no-one else seems worried about what's actually possible):
