Thank You very much. Neurotica is actually my friend's former band. And I was wondering why both them and Chevelle wasnt on the History page. And for the record. I love what you did with the site.

Ya'll can kiss my fat ass if you dont like it but, the fact of the matter is. Not everyone is going to like them.

Never seen 'em. Then again I've never liked Iron Maiden either. I love the music but Bruces voice makes me want to stab my ears with a screwdriver. I still wouldn't mind seeing them live, but I wouldn't go just for them.

you are fucking nuts....Bruce and the boys are METAL GODS....they have to be considered in the ton ten metal bands of all time....if not the ton 5
Well its apparent that we dont really give much for them. Im glad I got to see them on OZZFEST. But again, I've Heard Better. Just because their in the top 10 doesnt mean we have to like them. Hell I think Godsmack are Metal Gods. And so does My Dad (and hes over 50). Im not saying their not talented or that they suck. It just never got my attention and for the 3rd time...I've heard better.

Only once. And that was on OZZFEST. I know im probably going to get my balls busted for this but I think their over rated. I dont see what the big deal is.
consider your balls busted faggot. Grin

Consider them busted and then stomped on and then torched until there is nothing left  Shocked
Seriously I dont see the big deal about their music. Im sure back then it really ment something but now....I've heard better. 1 of my favorite singers isnt even in a band. Its Jamie Vandera. He was on Mythbusters and was the first person to demonstrait on tape thats its possible to shatter a wine glass using your un-amplified voice. Paul Gilbert, The worlds 4th fastest guitar playerin the world. And yet hardley no one knows about him.

You have two years listed as 1999. And this has been driving me insane. In 2002 you are missing 2 Bands. Chevelle and my best friend's band Neurotica. Its on the t-shirts. It was on the program. Please fix this.

of course this is a biased thread. no one's gonna say 08 except for texans.

Im sure there were plenty of people who flew in for the show. I mean if people would fly accross the nation for Star Trek conventions. Im sure there are concert geeks who would do the same thing.
100  Forum / General Discussions / Re: BACKSTAGE or VIP PASSES FOR OZZFEST on: May 02, 2010, 08:26:08 pm
HellYeah dude, I mean good luck to all these bands who are touring. Because sure we are all trying to make money. But, since WE are not touring on any of these tours. Have fun and just go CRAZY!
101  Forum / General Discussions / Re: BACKSTAGE or VIP PASSES FOR OZZFEST on: May 02, 2010, 06:20:52 pm
Why do you care what tour makes the most money? All I care about is having fun at whatever show I go to. And I preffer festivals over just a 2 band show. Because theres so much more to do. And no offense but I have never seen Dream Theater or Iron Maiden do an entire tour for free.
102  Forum / Versus / OZZFEST 2007 vs. OZZFEST 2008 on: May 02, 2010, 06:12:03 pm
Both these years were grounbreaking events. 2007 was the year the WHOLE TOUR was FREE!!! 2008 was a 1 Day event that Featured Metallica and the Dime Bagg All Star Tribute band. Which to do you think was better and which would you rather attend? For me...2007. It would have been cool to attend 2008 but the fact of the matter is. I could NEVER afford such a trip. Let alone the ticket. I live in NY and a round trip, hotel room, a car rental, gas, food, parking, souviniers, the ticket.....I could never afford it. But 2007, I didnt pay a thin red dime for the ticket and the venue was only 3 hours away. And I was just 7 rows away from OZZY and it didnt cost me a dime.

People were bitching about how they havent heard of most of the bands on the second stage but Sharon has said ever since 99 or 2000 that the second stage was going to be reserved for up-in-coming acts. And I love seeing new talent. How about the rest of you?

How can I get BACKSTAGE or VIP PASSES FOR OZZFEST?
ask fof, he would know and from what i hear he walked funny for a week

As FoF and I were talking about. That whole Sharon vs. Bruce thing is water under the bridge. Get over it dude.
104  Forum / General Discussions / I actually like the line-up on: May 02, 2010, 03:41:40 pm
Im looking forward to it. Sure ill have to drive 3 Hours to Pittsburgh but it will be worth it. I may not be a huge Motley Crue fan but it would be cool to see them. As for Halford, I was suppose to see Judas Priest back on OZZFEST of 2004 but that bitch Mother Nature didnt change her tampon and sent her hurricanes and canceleld my show. So this is a good way to make up for it. And NONPOINT. I use to see them all the time when they performed at this local radio station concert called The BuzzBake Sale. I havent seen them since like...2002 (I think). And I havent seen Drowning Pool since OZZFEST 2002 (R.I.P Dave "Stage" Williams).

As for the rest of the bands...Ill give them a try. Sure I preffer metal bands that actually sing like Godsmack, nonpoint, Drowning Pool, DragonForce etc. But ill give'em a shot. And just like what "FIRSTOZZYFAN" said. He will taking part in an 18 month tour. So you will have another chance to see OZZY. I just hope they have some sort of VIP ticketing packaging for OZZFEST.
