JohnnytheSlayer said: Also i'll give you some positive facts about metal too because i doubt your class is all metal heads.
-Metal is the most diverse genre in metal having the most sub genres. -Metal is the most educational genre of popular music today (Amon Amarth= Norse Mythology, Nile= Egyptian culture ect.) -Metal is the only popular genre that uses classical instruments (Black metal, Folk metal ect.) -Metal is one of the only popular genres of music where a band can be very big and still sell cheap ticket prices (Lamb of god, Trivium, Machine head, gojira was 20 bucks, King diamond with kreator was 35 bucks.) -We also have the most loyal fans (have you ever seen a kid wearing a 50 cent or soulja boy shirt before)?
And when i say popular i dont mean MTV, i mean tons of kids know about metal and it is hugely recognized and known, even if your not a fan of metal. And even though Black metal isnt widely recognized, its still apart of metal.
Awesome! Something amazing about my class, 90 percent of my class are metalheads!

A HXC true american would not want amnesty for illegal immigrants though. Foolish. Look at the propaganda being pushed against him. "oh he wants to have illegal immigrants become citizens" but not only till after they go through citizenship requirements. Its not a handout. They take things out of context. The McCain Kennedy bill was not propaganda. It was a bill. If they don't suffer any consequence at all for breaking our law we might as well give them a fucking medal for crossing the border. While he is a good guy, and he is a likable candidate, McCain is way more weak on this stance than I would like a President to be. Just personal preference I suppose. Very true, I've desided that arguing politics starts out slightly fun, but turns to nothing short of being barbaric. Everyone has their own influences and beliefs. You cant really change that! Who will you vote for? The only thing I know right now is that I won't vote for a democrat. I like small parts of each of the republican candidates but none have the whole package. It all depends on who wins the nomination. What really enrages me is how people will vote for someone for only one reason. But what pisses me off even more is when people say "I'll vote for Hillary because she's a woman." or "Im going to vote for Obama because hes black". Thats just completely ignorant! I'll pay attention to what the democrats say when they start putting forth plans except saying the word change. It's kind of like Ron Paul, it's like, ok, we get it, you want to take things out. What are you going to do once you take these things out? Then what? I'd really like to know clear policy rather than what is on their i-pod. Nice. The race is so glamorized now. Its almost like a football game, its stupid. No body really looks into their candidates anymore. They look at one topic, and one topic only. Its terrible. Well that is if they even get around to a topic. Hahaha, people are so ignorant! Good to see Im not the only person who thinks so!

So I am writing a research paper on the History of Heavy Metal and how it has influenced music and the world, essentially.
I need your help. One part of it is AS MANY GENRES of metal as I can find. So I need everyone to give me every sub genre they know of in metal, and if you want to give me extended help, throw in some of the bands!
Thanks!
