It's regrettable, but it will not in any way diminish this tour for me whatsoever. It'll still be Sabbath to me no matter who the drummer is. If they replaced Ozzy or Iommi wasn't in the band, then that's different.

Ozzfest or Mayhemfest, it makes no difference to me. If it's a metalfest I'm there. What I will say about Mayhemfest is, they always always have to have a nu metal band as a headliner. That's not my choice for the type of band I want to go on last, but that'll never change.

Ted Nugent episode was great. I can't wait till he comes back to my area. I had to miss him last year with the major hurricanes and all that.

That's pretty killer that you got ST on your show. But yeah, it was a cool tour. They had good bands on that. I guess with there being the Mayhemfest now, it sorta replaced it.

No problems here. I like the lineup. I don't know much about Asking Alexandria or the Devil wears prada, but I like the rest of the bands. I think I may have seen Devil wears Prada at one of the Sounds of THe underground shows, but I don't remember.

Honestly Matt, I like the lineup. Plus they'll still add a few more bands, so it's really not the full lineup up there yet. Slipknot isn't one of my favorites, but I'll check'em out. I like As I lay Dying, White chapel, and High on Fire. It's just going to be very anticlimactic to see a Slayer set, and then Slipknot. It's kind of in between because I don't love slipknot, but I don't hate them either so I feel I should check'em out. I'd prefer it was a band I really hated like System of a Down or something. Then there'd be no decision. I'd get the hell out of there after Slayer.

Jay it's like you're my twin sometimes haha preaching to the choir. My friends as well either don't like the bands I like or too much money. I don't mind going to shows by myself. The one thing about us metalheads is, we're a lot friendlier than most people know. I always get to chat it up with other fans whether I'm with friends or solo. I went to a couple BLS shows by myself, I'm going to Gigantour in New York by myself and as I mentioned before I'll be going to see the Wall alone.
Hell yeah! Once I start drinking some beer and the music is going, I don't even care anymore who's with me. ANd like you said, I always end up bullshitting with people that are hangin out too. Ofcourse it's always preferable to go with somebody. But half the time I gotta deal with all the bullshit of laying out money for people, and people are always late, everybody's a picky eater so getting food becomes a hassle. So sometimes it works out even better to not have to deal with any of that. How was the gigantour show?

Cool, glad you're not gonna miss this tour. I think the '07 tour, I paid about the same price. THe 60 something dollar tickets. But as you know, it's not like it used to be. Everybody used to try and get the best seat possible. But now that tickets have gotten so expensive, everybody rushes to get the cheap seats and they're the first ones to get sold. Good to know I"m not the only one that goes to shows by myself. I've done that more often than not over the years. Otherwise I would've missed basically everything. Friends either don't like the same bands, or they don't want to spend the money, etc...

No problem. If you have any questions about the site let me know. If you're worried about security, they're not asking for a credit card number. It's just like Ebay. Sellers accept paypal or google checkout and all that. Sellers all have their feedback on there. Thank god for that site. I was able to get so much stuff that was never officially released to dvd.

Jay I like Soundgarden too but I like AIC better, that was my vote. That would be cool to have Soundgarden and AIC, it would be a lighter Ozzfest than normal but I'd be down with it. Both are hugely influenced by Sabbath.
AIC would be a great pick as well. I guess because I've never seen Soundgarden before, that would have more excitement for me. Both bands would be great.
