Outside of children I doubt anyone gets scared by horror movies, it's never entered my mind that I might be frightened by a horror film now.

It was mediocre, like the original. The best part of it was when I finally realized the sheriff was the actor that played Doc Cochran in Deadwood.

Not a direct equation to that of someone taking a wank to sex on film. She didn't call you out, she said Tarantino, a lot of people listed Tarantino as a favorite. You were the only one who misconstrued it as a personal attack and you called her out. Whether you like the director she criticized is moot, because it wasn't directed at you.

Anyway, what exactly is 'porn'? Is Caligula porn? If so does that mean everything written by Gore Vidal is porn? When I read Imperial America does it mean I'm like the people who beat off to Hustler? Of course not, it's an opinion criticizing the work not the viewer. I like Van Gogh, some people have said a child can recreate his stuff with finger paint. So you're going to sit me and tell me that none of these guitarists manage to inspire and push people in the Metal genre? Because I think it's sill if you think none of them did that.

Who they inspired has nothing to do with their own ability. They're treated like guitar gods and considered the best of the best when they aren't. Me labeling them as overrated doesn't have a thing to do with who they 'pushed'. If that was something worth taking into consideration then a band like The Ramones, one you made fun of should be considered equal to them because they're icons regarding how many people they inspired. I think guitarists like Frank Zappa, John Petrucci, etc. are superior to those I listed yet don't get half the credit. Fuck, Jake Lee is way better than Zakk Wylde and equal to Rhoades yet is rarely mentioned when talking about Ozzy Osbourne.
