I really don't think the exorcist stands the test of time.  The effects look lame now and the movie no longer has much shock value which was originally half the movie.  TCM will always be great though, it wasn't top production value when it came out so they had no special effects to worry about looking silly in years.  
TCM looks like someone went out in there backyard with a camera and killed people, thats what makes it so great it looks grainy and it gives it an awesome feel.  Modern horror movies where everything is so perfect and the quality is pristine look almost sterile next to a movie like TCM.  TCM gets my vote, it holds up better in the long run.

I love building computers, my current computer I'm running has 3 gigs of ddr2 800 patriot memory, an intel E6600 and dual geforce 8600GTs.  I hope to upgrade to a quad core soon, been hearing a lot of speculation about a price drop so I'm waiting.
