I get horrible ulcers
about 1 or 2 every 2 weeks and they sometimes get so big they hurt my teeth
I thought they were caused by me drinking sunny d and eating potatoe chips but i stopped and they went away...but now they are back

any insight guys?
anything that causes them, or how to prevent them or get rid of them

Ive tryed peroxide, salt water, and some herb and nothing works

ulcers are caused by the overproduction of stomach acids, usually from stress or a bad diet.  and NOT eating makes it worse because the stomach still produces acid but has nothing to digest but YOU.  my grandpa had ulcers so bad it burned big holes in his stomach and he had to have 90% of it removed.  mine went away after I stopped eating deep fried foods.

prescription pills are really expensive (Nexium, Prevacid) and work by shutting down the little pumps that produce the gastric juices.  over the counter pills are cheaper (Zantac, Pepcid, Tagamet) and work by neutralizing the pH levels.  pills can be a problem, because without the acids, you don't digest your food properly and you get other digestive problems like gas and constipation.  okay, too much information. . .

balance out your diet, more fiber, fruits, veggies and nuts.  and even though milk might make it feel  better, the lactic acid only makes it worse.
