So what's everyone's opinion on Gus replacing Zakk? Mine is that it's great, don't get me wrong I love Zakk and I never would have picked up a guitar if it wasn't for him, but Gus is awesome, he isn't doing nothing but pinch harmonics in Randy songs and I think he is giving Ozzy a fresh breath of air.

on a minor note Firewind is also an amazing band.

I love randy
i love everything zakk did all the way up to Ozzmosis...everything after that was down hill on the guitar part
Gus G.......from what Ive heard (blizzcon) he does the musi justie
hes a better guitar player than zakk...its very obvious
ozzy may go in a progressive diretion

I did some research on Gus and learned some things I didn't know -

He has also played in Mystic Prophecy, Nightrage, Arch Enemy and Dream Evil, he temporarily replaced Christopher Amott from Arch Enemy on their Ozzfest dates, and also does the solo on Taking Back My Soul and he has also done work with Old Mans Child.

I gotta say that I think it's fuckin awesome that Ozzy has a guitarist that has toured and done work with Arch Enemy.

I think that Gus G will be good for Ozzy, he is definitely more accomplished than Wylde.
