and it should be a two day event.

Metallica
Opeth
My dying bride

Alice Cooper
Iron Maiden
Judas priet
Korn
Rob zombie

NO MOTLEY CREW EVER!!!::stare

Motley Crue is a good band, and they are fun live, and they are friends with Ozzy.  So, it could happen.

L?Huh???Zz?Huh said: I'm just curious to know the REAL Ozzfest lineup this year!?!? ::confused Let's hope good bands!!!!! Why waste money for this new crap they keep putting out for young teens! lol

Slayer
Dying Fetus
Cannibal Corpse
Mortician
Deicide
Vital Remains
Opeth
Kreator
Morbid Angel
Bathory
Burzum
Nile
Behemoth
Mercyful Fate
Candlemass
My Dying Bride
Iron Maiden
Fear Factory- older stuff from Soul of a new machine.
Danzig
Ozzy of course ........  those are some bands I would like to see again!::animatedsmile
As cool as that would be Quorthorn is dead, so Bathory can't happen and Varg Vikernes never toured with Burzum, and I think he's on a hiatus from metal right now. I'm going to stop trying to punch holes in everything though.

Some of these bands are playing fests in Europe at some point, so I don't know if they would work out, none of them are on major tours though (and no-one else seems worried about what's actually possible):
Main:
Ozzy/Sabbath
Iron Maiden
In Flames (I think a reunion is possible, bands have gotten over alchoholism before)
Suicidal Tendancies
Mastadon

Side Stage:
Amon Amarth
Suffocation
Deicide
Gojira

Other Side Stage:
Mayhem
Opeth
Napalm Death
Athiest

Up-and-coming-stage:
Cattle Decapitation
Man Must Die
Novembers Doom
Wolves in the Throneroom
Braindrill

^ Above lineup is the best I've seen so far because of the last two stages.

OP's lineup would be great if you took out Ozzy, Judas Priest, Down, Fear Factory, Black Label, Machinehead, Devildriver, Soulfly, CoB, Lazarus A.D, Cannibal Corpse, Amon Amarth, and Thy Will Be Done.

best list so far. i'd drop in flames though. they've had more shit albums than good ones now and that spot would be better taken by a band like behemoth or arch enemy.
