I can't post the link or the dates cuz I'm on my iPod and I haven't figured that out yet, but blabbermouth.net said that metallica will be in Australia and new Zealand starting mid-august. So essentially their dates end at the start of July and start again in the middle of august. Coincidence, or gonna be on the fest? Seems like the latter to me.  
Again I apologize for not posting a link, but if you go to blabbermouth and go to yesterdays news u should find it. Sorry again

yeah you're right. But either way, they have a big gap in touring in the summer time. I think it could he for ozzfest if it's ever announced

Metallica won't be going to Australia until October, and then some dates in NZ in November as well. As of now, there July/August/Sept schedule if open.
