I'll be there! Coming from Northern California. Got my PIT tickets the first day they were out. Haven't been to a show in awhile so I am ready to go now!

i have 3 autographs from ozzy i have the irish cross tattoo with ozzy written in the middle of the cross before ozzfest i'm getting his autograph tattooed above the cross.

Some aerial photo's of the CA location. Used the Ozzfest logo and a pic from an Ozzy book signing. Hope that's ok. If not, I'll delete them ). As I worried, there is no shade except at surrounding buildings which I am sure will be swarming with vendors and others trying to escape the heat. The pit looks bigger than it was for the Metal Masters Tour... then again the pit looked bigger last year at Mayhem as well... do they remove seats to make the pit bigger? Or have I just been mistaken this whole time?

i thought so too when i was looking at the pictures. someone said seats start at x, so that'd mean 23 rows are removed. that is a big pit. maybe to make room for a mosh and to reduce the crush factor? the field in back is huge too. sounds like a buncha people up to no good if'n you ask me, and nobody has. but if you did, i might say something like that. |

Did anyone else notice the price for Pit tickets went down? I bought mine for $150 a piece, now they are only $135. BULLSHIT!

All the ticket prices went down...it's a drag in a way...but I love getting Ozzfest tickets on the first day they go on sale. To answer an earlier question, they do take out seats to make the huge pit at San Manuel. The last time Ozzfest was there the pit was tiny. But last year at Cruefest they had the huge pit. I liked it...with the small pit in 2007 it seemed like security was carrying someone out of there every half hour or so. |

I'd say that earns us a VIP upgrade (heh heh)...J/K!!! But EH, WOOOYYY NOT? You know that those who bought them on day 1 love the man...shuffle all them souls up to fill in the spaces at a reduced upgrade price, and then sell the freaking lawn tickets out to whoever else wants to come. |
