Ungrateful.

So my best friend (we're 20 and have been best friends since we were 9) moved in with me and my fiance in December.
I let her have one month FREE with no rent so she could get a job and get settled in. She had a rough semester at college and needed some TLC.
She never got a job. I have been paying for her part of utilities, the $400 phone bill she racked up on my phone, her clothes, sheets, pillows, shoes, cigarettes, food, etc. since December.
Today I decided I'd had enough when she was trying to sell one of my dogs on craigslist.
I told her I was done and she needed to leave by Sunday.
She took my PS2 controller and my Red Dead Revolver game.
She left a shitty note telling me off and saying how she'd pick her stuff up Saturday and I had better not be home.
I found more of my things in her boxes (my missing Rob Zombie belt buckle for one).
She's telling people shitty things, and commenting about how she's found new couches to sleep on.
And never once did she thank me.
I changed the locks today, and she was never on a lease. So her things will be picked up when I am home, that way she doesn't steal anything else, and she needs to bring back what she stole already.

She then sends me a shitty message about how she doesn't have to grateful, because I volunteered all of that stuff, and even though she is supposed to be my Maid of Honor, and we've been friends for so long, she never really liked me anyway, and I'm a shitty friend. So she's cutting ties with me.

I don't know why I bother keeping girls as friends. Shit like this always happens.

I mean, I volunteered that stuff because I considered her my best friend.
If she did the same for me, I'd be grateful. I wouldn't just be like "Sorry, you volunteered to do that, it's on you."

I'm with Steve on this one.....you have only you to watch out for....it's to bad that it had to go that way , but thats all on her and she's the one that has to live with it.....some day she 'll be like " WTF was I thinking?".....right now she has a lot of growing up to do....you did the right thing buy kicking her out.....and who cares what she says about you....you know the truth and anyone who knows you...really knows you.....will know that she's full of shit...take care Jaz

like I said before ......Ozzfest Boards are like the corner tavern......where all the regulars come to chill and talk with one another......sure we have some drunks , some stoners, even some freaks who type like a 4 year old.....but we are all one big happy fucked up family......here's too THE OZZFEST PUB......ONE HELL OF A PLACE TO MEET FRIENDS.
