Zakk is AMAZING and so was Randy-R.I.P.
I'm sure that once EVERYONE has gotten used-to Gus
they'll think that he is just as AMAZING as those before him!
We are ALL fans of OZZY and most of those that have joinned him through his journey.
All i'm saying is just give it some time to register in they're tiny minds and they will see.

if anyone see's what Ozzy is doing at Ozzfest and doesn't see the talent in Gus, Adam, Blasko, and Tommy, they're freaking BLIND! Gus rips it up during the Sabbath instrumental cover. it's beautiful. i was just so excited that everyone got to see him shine like that. myself included! he's amazing.

As Ozzy said in an interview, Gus is playing Zakks material right now for the most part. I want to hear what he can write with Blasko and Tommy Clufetos and Adam Wakeman. I hope they hit the studio soon.

Essentially Gus G is a cover musician.
Fact.
During this tour anyway.... What did he play...ONE song from Scream?
Not that its a bad thing, he just hasnt had a canvas to show what he can do...
So far he can emulate Zakk...but he`s no Zakk.
He`s the next flavor of the day as far as great guitarists Ozzy snags in his long and winding road of a career.
Gus still has a long way to go to "prove" himself....he`s good. But he fucking should be.
That is the least he could do...he`s working for Ozzy. Lets see him kick it up a few notches.
My opinion is that he is towing the load as a guitar sideman during this tour so Zakk Wylde can do his own solo BLS tour.
It`s a job....it`s only a rock and roll job.
If he gets caught drinking a beer will he get fired?
Hopefully for Gus G and the rest of the fans who will pay to see him with Ozzy this winter....he will get to play more of his stuff so we can get a real read on his abilities.
Falling all over him and marveling at the peanuts in his shit are a bit premature I`d say.

Between Blizzard and Diary there were 14 months release date to release date. In fact Ozzy's first four albums came one a year for four years.

Once Gus has tied down vintage Ozzy, which it appears he has, I don't see anything keeping keep him or any of the rest of the band from dabbling. If Gus writes, he probably dabbles with sounds every day while he practices. Touring doesn't supercede writing. Otherwise, explain Diary so soon after Blizzard. Randy & Ozz were certainly touring then.

I'd like to see that creativity and sound soon. Nothing says there can't be an album in a years time if the guys have that drive and the creativity is flowing. That would be awesome. Scream is Zakk. I want to see Gus. I think he has talent, I'd like to see it set free.

Ozzy hired Zakks replacement. I want to hear what he can do. Why wait?
