Which one takes the cake?  RB released Metal Track Pack which features Evile, Godsmack, At the Gates, and CoB.  However, GH released Metallica which also features Machinehead, Motorhead, and several other awesome songs/bands.  They also released Warriors of Rock.  Though RB has a lot more downloadable content like Slayer, NIN, Cannibal Corpse, Ministry, and more.  Though GH has the double bass and more songs that DON'T have to be downloaded.  So it's a really tough choice.

ok, kidding aside, I like BOTH. but I actually would rather play a real instrument, as I play guitar, bass and keys(not so good on the keys atm though) the games are fun though. I avoid the GH games that dick ride bands like green day and aeromsith though. I mean whats next? rammstein GH? thats pretty much Ministry with some german dude rolling his R's for 4 minutes. the game has nothing to do with how the actual songs go, which I discovered my first time on GH but I enjoy pressing random buttons to black sabbath, and that aint so bad.

Iron Maiden and Anthrax are freakin' hard on drums.  Same for Slayer, Lamb of God, and Ozzy (Bark at the Moon).

I know pro musicians who have trouble playing either one of them

and I know people who are great on the games and moved on to real instruments

but I just can't get the hang of it.  I'm okay on the vocals for the Beatles Rock Band

I heard they were making a "Guitar Hero: Female Fronted".  My guess is that, if they do, they'd probably have:
Lita Ford w/ Ozzy Osbourne - If I Close My Eyes Forever
The Runaways - Cherry Bomb
Hydrovibe - Killer Inside - (they're how I heard of it)
Kittie - Die My Darling
Drain S.T.H. - Enter My Mind
Lacuna Coil - Swamped
Coal Chamber - Loco
Straight Line Stitch - Taste of Ashes
Walls of Jericho - A Day and 1000 Years
Arch Enemy - We Will Rise
Cradle of Filth - Nymphetamine
Courtney Love - Teenage Whore
Martina Axen w/ Nadja Peulen - Ghosts of Me
Roadrunner United - The End
That's just what I actually THINK would be on there.  Of course, it's gotta have SOME shitty songs up there just because they were popular at once.
