its coming to ruin Grant Park again
the line-up was just announced today
and not only do I not recognize most of the bands
there isn't anyone playing (again) that I would
put up with the fest just to go see them;  like;
Foo Fighters
Big Audio Dynamite (isn't Joe Strummer dead?)
Flogging Molly
Deftones

 Undecided

well, they've blocked off tons of streets around Grant Park from Roosevelt to Monroe
It took me an extra hour to get to work yesterday in the gridlock around the fest grounds
so I'm taking the side streets through the West Sy-eed to and from work this week

hmmm. . . Gangster Disciples or Insane Vice Lords . . . which ones are less likely to kill me?

they're being really strict about letting bands play aftershow parties or other gigs
within a certain time and distance this year, forcing people to see them at the fest
or wait a while til they come back to town on their own tours

What's the weather like there AVG? Must be pretty hot?
My in laws are in Missouri at the moment and went swimming at Table Rock Lake at 7am
During the week as it was so warm at that hour of the day!
Spring officially starts on 1 September for us....I can't wait.....although it's been a pretty mild and dry winter so far!

the stuff the cars did in the late 70s and early 80s would be cool...

they're in a different neighborhood.  and they are less likely to kill me than the other two.

the weather is beautiful here again after a nasty humid heat wave last week
feeling bad for our ozzfriends in the Southern states, especially Texas
35 days straight of over 100 degree temps.  I think the record is 45 days
