Rare Early Dio Tracks To Be Released

Before Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell and Dio, Ronnie James Dio fronted Elf, and now a number of those rare, early Dio tracks will see the light of day thanks to an upcoming release entitled And Before Elf . . . There Were Elves.
And Before Elf . . . There Were Elves will be released this October through Niji Entertainment. The album features 12 previously unreleased live and studio tracks from 1971. It will feature a hologram cover, and when you turn it, two images can be seen--Dio from the first Elf LP and a band photo from 1971.
