Last month was Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  What most people don't know is that November is Epilepsy Awareness month.
I've been epileptic for 16 years and this really means a lot to me.  To learn more go to Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE).

first off, hats off to you for managing your condition for that long.  it's a tough disease to diagnose and treat.  the hardest part for most people is keeping up their treatment, getting plenty of rest and managing their environment.

one of the guitar players that worked in a couple of the bands we used to work with years ago, was epileptic.
whenever the light techs asked how we would like our lights for the show, we always said, "On."  he couldn't take any strobes or lasers going off nearby him.

it's also Prostate Cancer Awareness month.  I am growing my moustache in solidarity.
