my first show was Rush, 1979 at the International Amphitheater. they started with 2112 all the way through.
I was 13 and our seats were main floor all the way at the back. I couldn't see shit but the music was awesome.

1985 Ozzy came back to New Orleans ..same arena this time he had a very young Metallica with him..
think Ozzy was on the Ultimate Sin Tour..I think...any who Metallica was on the Master Of Puppets tour,was the only time I seen them live as well and I am glad I did .....Cliff Burton died shortly after......
we saw that tour and I have got to write a book about what happened to us that weekend . . . highlights include;
bad haircut - expensive, emergency car repairs - tailgating during a major rainstorm - massive alcohol consumption - huge rainbow that extended from parking lot to inside the venue during soundcheck - muddy hill - bad sandals - my sister's broken elbow - second row seats - Cliff Burton playing ten feet in front of us - major fistfight with row jumpers - getting lost exiting the show, wandering golf course for hours - almost getting run over by Ozzy's tourbus - passing out in Alpine's parking lot before getting thrown out - going to the same show two days later at Poplar Creek - my sister FINALLY going to get x-rays two days after that.
