I don't know if it's my computer or I'm so discombobulated I can't post the link
to the Chicago Tribune site with the story.  three day tix are the only ones available right now
and single day tix will be sold after they announce the individual day line ups

I so hate Lollapalooza.  this news has me all, um . . . . at a loss for words

they will be ten miles due east of me.  how can I not go to this?
and the story sez it's the only other world tour performance of the original four besides Donnington

so gnomez.  come to chicago and I'll throw you in my ocean

Well they don't say there won't be an ozzfest
They're just saying that Sabbath are only playing once in the USA at Lollapalooza
I guess there's still a chance of an ozzfest tour or an ozzy and friends tour
But its getting a bit late though to be making any announcements isn't it?

in the past, Lollapalooza has strictly enforced its EXCULSIVITY CLAUSE
restricting bands from scheduling shows near the date and area of the festival

consent executed by a representative of C3, Artist will decline any

Chicago the weekend of Aug 6-8, 2010. Artist will not announce ANY
Lollapalooza performance until Lollapalooza has publicized its schedule.

the people on the Black Sabbath page are NOT HAPPY about this news

300 miles isn't THAT restrictive surely?
Sabbath and Ozzy can still play all over the USA (except within 300 miles of Chicago)!?
Unless of course Lollapalooza don't enforce that requirement on them?

Sabbath is one of my top favorite bands, but I would never travel all the way to Chicago unless the whole lineup is killer.

Can't remember the dates but I know it was mid April that they announced Ozzfest 2010 and mid-May when tickets went on sale.
