Black Sabbath have announced a second show in Auckland.
The legendary metal band's April 20 show at Vector Arena sold out within minutes this morning.
Organisers immediately confirmed a second Sabbath show at the venue on April 22.
Tickets are already on sale through Ticketmaster.
The shows will be band's first in New Zealand since performing at the Great Ngaruawahia Music Festival in January 1973.
Singer Ozzy Osbourne earlier told the Herald his memories of their headlining set at that festival are a little hazy.
"When we were last there we played at this place by a big lake or something. There were some local Maoris there. But I can't remember what it was called," he said.
The original Sabbath line-up, made up of Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bass player Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward have reunited a number of times over the years, including special headlining appearances at Ozzfest during the 2000s.
Though Ward is not part of this reunion the rest of the band are recording their first album together in 33 years, to be released early next year.
The Vector Arena shows are part of their full world tour.
I already have my GA floor ticket for the Saturday night
Fuck work I might go to the Monday night show as well!!

Yeah.. I've translated all the sites they link on there to try and purchase tickets but they wont let you create an account unless you have a Japanese name and address.. Little rude haha.

Gnomez, how did you score tickets?!
I really want to go... is it true that you have to have a japanese address, etc? Does anyone have any information about how to get tickets?? I'd like to get them before they are sold out, or before i have to purchase them for way too much from a scalper.
black sabbath and tool in one show? an excuse to plan a japanese vacation? count me in!! I'll be very bummed if they don't make tickets available to international fans.

I got tickets to Black Sabbath in New Zealand thru Ticketmaster
I'm not sure how you can get tickets to Ozzfest Japan
Perhaps try Ticketmaster?
Or a concert event ticket agent like Pollstar etc?
