caex and SixStringSamurai are both right about emo... I always tell everyone it's another genre hijacked and ruined by the record-label dinosaur execs to make as much money as they can.  Why is rap so popular?  We got a bunch of African-Americans who make millions of money, but end up giving away their dignity and looking like a bunch of n*****s.

Ok... back to the topic... every one of those pop-"punk" bands you all mentioned suck, and so do any top 40 pop or rock act who fits the same definition.  And why do they glorify suicide?  That's fucking not right, it disrespects all of those who have attempted to do so.  ::confused

I don't know what the hell "emo" is and it sounds like none of the rest of you know either, but I do know that All The Remains does not fit into this category.

Speaking of categories..... why is everyone so obsessed with labeling everything and then arguing with eachother about what category each "shitty and faggy" band should be classified under?  I'm so fuckin sick of hearing about Emo and Screamo and Hardcore and Metal and Metalcore and nu metal and death metal and black metal and thrash and speed and whatever the fuck else there is. All of us like music right? If you like it great, if you don't then don't listen to it, but also don't waste your time bitching over useless labels on bands that you don't even like!
