I used to be enrolled in taekwondo classes at campus.  I would have continued it at the instructor's school downtown, but it's too expensive, even with the college student discount he has.  I also can't continue with the classes on campus because they are taught at an orange/green belt level (even for new students who start at white, so we learn more than we have to know for our lower belt ranks) and I'm already an orange, and I already took the class the maximum number fo times you can for actual college credits.  If I took the class again I would not be learning anything new and I would not be getting college credits for it.  The master/instructor is very good at what he does, though.  He won South Korea's national taekwondo championships three times and is an 8th degree black belt in taekwondo, 5th degree black belt in hapkido (joint locks, pressure points, throws, kicks, and other strikes), and also a 5th degree black belt in Korean sword fighting.

I especially loved the sparing days when I would even beat up 6'+ guys two belt ranks higher than myself (I being a 4'9" 100 lb. female who was a yellow belt at the time).  Master Park said I was a tank when it came to fighting.::laugh

Yes, they are, though I'm more likely to throw punches or kick the shit out of someone than try to claw their hair/clothes off.

Me either.  If I'm fighting someone it's either:
a. in self-defense
b. sparring with a friend
