I found this on ChthoniC's Myspace blog. Apparently Ozzy isn't supporting Taiwan's bid into the UN. He's not particularly for or against it. He's just letting the band do their thing and express their own opinions on the matter, but he isn't getting involved in the issue himself.

Ozzy and Taiwan
On the 4th July, 2007 (Wednesday), we held a press conference to announce the launch of Chthonic's "Unlimited" 2007 tour which neared a hundred performances internationally. Besides fulfilling our goal to allow our global fans to be able to catch our explosive performance live, we hoped that through the tour's title as well as the new song, "UNlimited TAIWAN" to show fans the source of Chthonic's creative inspiration; our native motherland Taiwan.
We wanted to show how despite Taiwan being already an independent nation is still constantly repressed by China. Taiwan is oppressed and a victim of international political pressure, unable through the machinations of China to be admitted like other independent and free states into global organizations such as the WHO (World Health Organisations) and UN (United Nations) to enjoy even basic amenities of protection or rights.
At the press conference, besides the local Taiwanese media, reporters and journalists from Reuters, BBC and other international media outlets were also present. Unfortunately, the next day, an entirely untrue rumour that "Ozzy Osbourne supports Taiwan's bid into the UN" somehow seeped into the news.
We would like to state here that we have been invited to Ozzfest, to perform our music, sing our songs and express our opinions. Ozzy Osbourne does not object to that, but one part of our "Unlimited" tour which numbers close to a hundred shows. We answered this question as we have answered on this blog, but we feel
that some reporter has deliberately twisted and inflamed, instigated a very misleading heading from our original statement that has caused Ozzy to become
involved in the subject. Such actions and inaccurate reporting from the media is really disheartening for us.
Although Ozzy does not express support or discouragement towards our stance; we feel that for a Taiwan who is indeed "being kept in the dark" from the international stage through China's pressure; who is to say that Ozzy, who is also well known as "The Prince of Darkness" may actually wind up supporting Taiwan?
