im a big fan of this genre.  necrophagist is probably my favorite band.  anyone else?

You've got some good taste. Necrophagist definitely has some interesting stuff going on. They were supposed to play on the second floor of this small record store ( a max of 300 people) with The Faceless last week. I was so excited to see them in such a personal setting, but they both cancelled. I still saw a couple of local bands (Left to Vanish, The Concubine) though, so the night wasn't a complete bust.

Tech death is an excellent genre. Atheist, Cynic, Aeon, Amok, Anata, Man Must Die, Psycroptic etc..all are just too awesome.

Tech death is amazing. I'd have to say that Necrophagist is definetly one of my favorite bands of the genre
