
Metal Insanity: Could you tell us the story on how you met Ozzy and became his Bass Player?
Blasko: I first opened for Ozzy when I was in Prong in about


??95. Then when I joined Rob Zombie in


??98 we did a bunch of tours with Ozzy. Over the years of touring, we just became friendly. When he was looking for a bass player after Newstead left, I was on down time from Zombie, and it was a great opportunity for me.
Metal Insanity: I love the new album (Black Rain). What was it like working with Ozzy and Zakk in the Studio?
Blasko: It was a great experience. I am very fortunate to have been involved with such a killer album and a great bunch of guys.

Blasko: Cliff, Lemmy, Geezer, Nekroman & Vicious.
Metal Insanity: The first band you ever played with?
Blasko: Cryptic Slaughter.
Metal Insanity: Equipment, what kind Bass and Amps do you use?
Blasko: I exclusively endorse Schecter Guitars and Mesa-Boogie amps.
Metal Insanity: At some point it had to hit you that you had finally made the Big Time, in a list of Bassist you will forever reside; Geezer Butler, Bob Daisley, Rudy Sarzo, Robert Trujillo, Blasko! Some would consider you are at the top. Could you elaborate on your success?
Blasko: I have been very lucky and very fortunate. I in no way put myself in league with the above-mentioned players, but I appreciate the compliment.
