3 studio albums. The first one is a demo and the live DVD isn't an album.

Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat is an album, not a demo

I think it is better than putting out a bunch of crap. If they only have that many cds there has to be a reason besides the side projects. It shows they just don't want to throw a bunch of crap onto a cd and release it.

But isn't that what they do anyways?

Are you sure?  Really sure?  Have you listened to them?

Because I have, and either they didn't follow your advice and put out complete shit.....or they suck.  Or both.

I suppose if you like listening to some guy whine then I guess it would be great.  Me I don't enjoy that stupid teenage angst ridden bullshit.

I love how Corey Taylor in interviews always talks about how much Slipknot means to everyone and how they have a purpose and will always be relevant.  Hes a fucking pompous asshole.

I hate when they call them legends and the best band ever. Exactly what has Slipknot done besides go mainstream? Nothing

they didnt influence anyone

I agree but Joey is good, given there are many other drummers that are  better in every since of the word. But Joet does deserve a little credit.

It's apparent that a lot of people here don't like Slipknot, but I love them. And I don't mind defending my opinion. Smiley

It's my personal opinion that their four albums (m.f.k.r. counts in my book, anyway) are solid, and agree with previous statements and examples that longevity doesn't mean you need a billion albums. They're successful (i will not fault bands who succeed) and have nine people without breaking up, which I admire. As far as I know, they're still together (after a scare insinuating they /were/ going to break up... that's why Voliminal was created).

In short, it's quality not quantity that counts in my book, and in my book Slipknot fits the bill. Smiley

I'm ready for my abuse. ::laugh
