i like them too. one of if not my favorite band. i have many tattoos because of them. not because i'm a crazy obsessed fan, i just love skulls. and a skull with bat wings? c'mon. that's cool. and i think they did a really awesome job covering walk. they didn't do it just to do it. they actually did it for a cover cd for kerrang.

also, isn't every band a corporate band? i mean, if bands aren't in it for the money, and they only do it because they love it, then why charge for cd's, merch, concerts, etc? every band is in it for the money, no matter what they say. some are just smarter than others, and do things that will get them more money.

very true....and yes they covered walk because kerrang wanted them to cover a heavy metal song and they knew walk very well and recorded that song...plus vinnie said they did a very good job on that song

avenged sevenfold is a great band when you actually sit down and listen to their cds, not just the mainstream ones on the radio. some of their best songs are the last on their cds, like MIA, betrayed or unholy confessions. they have good melodies that change throughout the songs, it works very well
