If it has an A/V jack, that won't work.

I don't think they'd let a big camera like that in. It's pretty obvious it's a good one. Mine is just a regular compact digital one. At last year's Ozzfest, they let me in with mine but the year before they were assholes about it. I think sometimes not all of the security people are on the same page because in 2005 lots of people had cameras inside, but the security person at the entrance I was at wouldn't let me in with mine. Also there are usually disposable cameras for sale inside.
At Family Values in West Palm cameras were allowed, but they stopped you from taking videos. At Slayer, if you could sneak your camera in (security wasn't letting people in with them) , they seemed to have no problem with you taking photos.

If it has an A/V jack, that won't work. the only thing it has on it is a spot to plug in the usb transfer cable if i were to transfer the stuff from the memory card to the PC.

Like they're gonna keep everyone from bringing in a cellphone - most of the new ones have audio/video capabilities. I recorded some on my phone but it sucked. We were able to bring in our digital binoculars though. Still kinda sucked but woulda been better if we had a tripod.

So my normal Digitial Camera isnt permitted then? Does it have detachable lenses or video? If so, then no. Detachable Lens, no. But it is a digital Camera, they all can take video. But I can say it doesnt, will they believe me? last year i just put my camera in my pocket and they didn't check me. but when they say video/audio recording devices they usually mean camcorders or something similar.
