Thanks!

I missed half of Zombie's set (I was busy getting an enormous hug from Zakk... see my profile for those pics), but what I saw was just amazing.  His energy was high, his voice was stellar, and whoever did his lighting design should get an award.  He even walked through the second row and I turned around and touched his arm (I know, gaga rockstar shit).

Ozzy sounded better than ever and was smiling enormously throughout the show.  Minnesotans are not known for going crazy, but he got a better reception from this audience than I've ever seen here.  Because of the damned delay on the digital camera, I missed his mooning shot.

I caught a drumstick from Ozzy's set, and cleaned the crap out of my camera this morning.  You should have seen the goop on the lens.  I'm amazed I got any photos after that.  ::sinister

You should go professional. These are amazing pics. Revolver could use you to get quality conert shots.

Thanks, The_Wicked_One.  They allowed "non-professional" cameras at my venue... which basically means, no detachable lenses.  I have a decent point and shoot (Canon G7) that I use for shows and it hasn't been denied entrance yet.  You just need something with manual controls if you're shooting in this kind of (bad) lighting.

SixString Samarai:  You know, if I thought I'd even have a shot at it, I'd go for it... but there are only 30 people in the world who actually make a living out of concert photography, so I'm not quitting my dayjob.  LOL.  It seems it's easier to become a rockstar than to become a rock & roll photographer!  I'm able to do a little on the side and I love it so much that I'll continue to do as much as possible.  Thanks for your comment, though!  I'm really glad you liked the photos!!  ::smile

Thanks so much, everyone.  I'm very glad you've enjoyed the photos.

I have only two passions:  photography and Ozzy.  To experience both of them in one night was just the best.

Great pictures!!
My friend bought us platinum VIP for the Chicago show, and I am getting really excited. That's awesome that Rob went through the second row because that's where our seats our. Thanks for the preview, now I'm getting even more excited ::smile
