I love live albums. My favorite ones that I have are:

Lamb of God - Killadelphia
Ozzy - Live and Loud
Gwar - Live from Mt. Fuji
Maiden - Rock in Rio
Ozzy - Randy Rhoads Tribute

Tribute of course and even though Ozzy hates it, Speak of the Devil was a great album.  Too bad my sister scratched the hell out of it when she was drunk off her ass trying to put it on the turntable.

Cheap Trick Live at Budokon has been a fave since we were in high school and a few years ago we got a version that was the whole concert, not just the original release.

A Fistful of Alice is also a great live album and even though it's Dio, Live Evil is a great live Sabbath album.

For live video, Anthrax' Music of Mass Destruction is the best cuz WE WUZ THERE!!!!.  ::sinister

You make it sound like Dio Sabbath is worse than Ozzy Sabbath.

On topic, though, my favorites are Nightwish - End of an Era, their last show with Tarja...Kamelot - One Cold Winter's Night is a favorite that I just can't get enough of.

Oh, and of course, Sentenced - Buried Alive. The final chapter of the Finnish Kings of Suicide.

My music teacher taught us that no one artist is 'better' than another, it's just your perception of them.  I will admit I do prefer Ozzy to Dio.  And to be fair, we went to see Heaven & Hell both times they rolled through Chicagoland and enjoyed the shows both times.

I was flipping through my vinyl the other day and came across Deep Purple's Nobody's Perfect live album.  Forgot about that one before.  We saw that tour at Alpine from the sixth row . . . Ritchie Blackmore is a wizard.

Ozzy - Live and Loud (I Don't Wanna Change the World and Desire are better on this than on the album)

Maiden - Rock In Rio (The Clansman is better on this than on the album)

Motorhead - any live album

People who don't like Ozzy but spend all their time on his board need to get lives.
