There's this band I found out about recently that's doing an interesting take on the old Sabbath 70s stuff... they're playing it on acoustic guitar w/a chick singing and a kickass rhythm section. At first I was like WTF, but the more I heard it the more I reailzed that's by far the coolest Sabbath tribute I've heard. They're called hole in the sky & I just found out they're doing a show on 3/28 in Allentown PA this month opening up for Big Noize, the band with Joe Lynn Turner, Vinnie Appice, Phil Soussan & Carlos Cavazo in it playing classic Sabbath, Ozzy & Deep Purple tunes. Will be an insane night, I'm going for sure. There's some live recordings up on the hole in the sky site
