Best Guitarist Ever?

having not heard some of the guitarists that are being posted, i cannot say who is the best, but i do think that alexi laiho is very talented. And dimebag is a great guitarist, there are many better, but just because he is overrated does not mean he was not good.

I would like to say overall is Hendrix. The man could play an entire song with his toes and nose, and could play with a guitar on fire. Besides him i'd say in the blues catagory B.B. King or Stevie ray vaughn

You're probably right but this is what I love.
I mean to me...That is talent. I have no idea why because if you wanted to think clearly as a normal ass stable person...Cobain probably does suck ass.....But the way I interpert everything he does...He's just one of the most talented people I have ever heard.

i agree with deadnight worrior. Dimebag and Laiho are both amazing. but nowhere near the best or greatest guitarists ever. Petrucci is definately one of them. Jason Becker....motherfucking amazing. But im going to stick with Buckethead. becasue, holy shit.... just...holy shit... he is amazing. a bit odd... but i like that about him.
