Even if you like them, how can they be better than Behemoth! I listened to them of their MySpace. They suck!
I'm sorry, I just can't get into Behemoth. I tend to stay away from most black metal because as a Christian, the culture tends to offend me. And, yes, I know they are considered "blackened death"
::laugh Well I'm NOT Christian. Behemoth's sound is amazing, you can't deny it.
I'm not passing judgment on you at all. If you enjoy Behemoth then, by all means, continue to rock out to them.
Of course you aren't. You're Christian. ::laugh I'm just joking to myself... I love Behemoth and hate The Showdown.
Not all Christians are judgmental assholes. Those kind of people piss me off probably as much as they piss you off.
Good. I have dealt with many a judgemental Christian. I still hate the Showdown and choose Behemoth...
I still choose the Showdown.

::laugh Behemoth really isn't all that Satanic. Most of their lyrics are just philosphical, but I guess that DOES go against scriptures.

I know...... But it nags me whenever I listen to it that I am in a way supporting something that doesn't coincide with my core moral beliefs. I've tried really hard to get into the stuff too. But I find myself unable to enjoy even the greats like Bathory. I'll keep at it but no promises.

If Cannibal Corpse decided they loved Jesus, I'd still listen to them. I listen to bands that have religious members within their ranks.

So I assume you don't listen to much death metal either do you? Especially the gore themed stuff? Since it's morally irrehensible to sing about killing people.

I like the Showdown. To me it is a good sound. I am a little older than alot of people on the board and some of the hard stuff is just a little to hard. It is nice to have something a little different.
