I just flew 10hrs/10,000km from NZ to San Fran to see Iron Maiden (but i was already going on holiday at the time so it's not like i specifically travelled that far just for the concert alone).
So how far have you DRIVEN or FLOWN just to see you favourite band?

The farthest I've driven is from NJ to upstate NY for Woodstock '94.
But, most recently I drove from NJ to Hartford, CT for Ozzfest last year

8 hour flight (several thousand miles) to London, (just over $100 on Ryanair, holy shit) then another couple hours to Germany for Rock am Ring '05 at the Nurburgring (sp?).
