finally caught it on cinemax, they followed the plot line of the original(including the same characters) and just made it better

Totally agree. I hated the original movie so much, and I am a huge Wes Craven fan, Alexandre Aja's remake is far superior to the original which is now simply horribly dated.

Just dont' bother seeing the sequal though, it's really bad.
