Unearth is the only metal-core band I can even remotely stomach listening to.

Lamb of God, Devildriver, and Between the Buried and Me. Metalcore has gotten a bad name from death metal elitist from every underground messageboard but some bands make good heavy music.

with very very heavy hardcore punk influence. That's where the term metalcore started. With band like d.r.i. and cryptic slaughter and suicidal tendancies.

All thrash is influenced by punk. I dont ever hear any breakdowns or overly repeative riffs but I'm not the biggest fan so I could be wrong.

They're not Metalcore. A Headbangers Journey incorrectly cited them as such. And metalcore is a fusing of metal and hardcoren, not hardcore punk. Hardcore is a branch off of Hardcore Punk.

Other than those bands I dont listen to much metalcore.
TDEP is some sick stuff. Although, I wouldn't classify them as Metalcore.
