I'm a chick, too. I love moshing, but actually prefer the front. That's pretty brutal, too. Those rails leave bruises all over and man, do people want your spot!

you'll be fine, go in and have fun, if you fall you will get pulled up right away dont worry.  a mosh pit is a family everyone is there for the releasing of energy but nobody actually wants other people to get hurt.  unless they like to dance then its war haha
