this was taken off of sharons official web site:
http://www.sharonosbourne.com/
Sharon's longtime friend and confidant, Minnie, has very unfortunately passed away. Sharon's friend and co-judge on America's Got Talent, Piers Morgan, shares this:
For the last two years the bane of my life has been Sharon Osbourne's small, white Pomeranian dog, Minnie. Every time I went near this ferocious creature, it would go berserk -- snarling, growling and attempting to bite me. A behavioral pattern, in fact, rather similar to its owner. (Though Sharon assured me it wasn't personal -- Minnie sank her fangs into half of Hollywood, including Patrick Swayze and The Hoff). Minnie died this week, after a long illness. And I found myself feeling unexpectedly sad. 'I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I'll actually miss her,' I told a heartbroken Sharon on the phone tonight, 'she was a real character.' I don?
??t normally 'do' dogs, but this was no ordinary dog.
Minnie, I salute you.

Yeah, but she was the HEAD bitch! nothing like being the top dog in the pack . . .
my deepest sympathies to the whole osbourne family for the passing of minnie. I lost my long-time friend, my cat Buddy, the sunday before that. people joke about how they're 'just pets' but its like losing a family member. for days, my parrot kept saying, 'meow, I love you' . . I wonder how the other dogs (especially Lola and Maggie) are handling it.

that was a set up for the last episode - that Jack was walking in his sleep and doing things he couldn't remember after he woke up. at the end of the episode they showed Ozzy holding Minnie at the wrap party for the crew. she was also a regular on Sharon's talk show.

personally, I prefer dogs you don't have to bend over too far to pet. anything lower than my knees is an ankle-biter.
here's a funny ozzfest story about Minnie;
the year they had Battle for Ozzfest, we were staying in the resort at Alpine Valley (natch) and we found out from the staff that a security guard saw this lady walking her dog and it took a crap in the tour bus area. he went over and started giving her a hard time, mainly because dogs aren't even allowed there. it was Sharon and Minnie. long story short, the guard was not only fired right on the spot but they called the cops to escort him off the grounds. we heard he got his job back about a week later.
later in the lounge, we look over and there's a young lady holding a miniature doberman pincher, who we later found out was Martini, another one of their dogs.

Sorry for the loss of Minnie. Losing a pet always hurts, but the pain fades over time. I lost my male Pug JoJo to a brain tumor in 2005 and it sucked really bad because he was the heart and soul of our family. He was a cranky lil Pug who liked to watch female neighbors shower and he tried eating lil kids lol, but we loved him anyway. He was the coolest dog we ever owned and it really floored us when he died at the animal hospital. May Minnie rest in peace

Does Sharon have plans of eventually getting another dog? I found when I adopted another Pug after JoJo died and it helped me slowly heal from that death. The Pug after him was a ladies man type who loved being petted.
