Gas Gouging...

Apparently too many gas stations,etc like to abuse their positions in order to get more money. In our state N.C, the govenor says to contact the state in order to report the problem. That during any crisis the price of gas should not exceed $0.20 cent more then usual. Otherwise the gas stations that do that, will recieve a $5000.00 penalty against them! As we speak N.C govenornment are charging lots of stations across the state for doing so. Unfortunately whenever we have a disaster such as a tropical storm, hurricane, etc, we the customers always get screwed. A reminder...Always get a receipt. Not only does it prove the gouging by stating the price on the receipt, but it also proves that you didn't steal gas. Of which people do. My question is this... What's your opinion on this matter?
