1.  no hardcore dancing. period.
2.  sunscreen!  I have a pocket-sized bottle of Bullfrog which I use for such occasions
3.  dress for the weather.  pay attention to the forecast the day before Ozzfest so you know what you're in for.  if there's a chance of rain, carry one of those really cheap individually wrapped rain ponchos with you.  They're small enough to easily fit in a pocket.
4. make sure your belongings are secure (wallet, keys, cash, id, weed, etc.)
5.  Keep hydrated.  It wouldn't hurt to sneak an extra bottle cap in so you can re-use the same water bottle multiple times provided you know where the drinking fountains are.

Have enough money, keep hydrated, and dress comfortable, and if you drink, watch your limit b/c you will be hot and you will get heat exhaustion or dehydration.

wear sunscreen even if it is cloudy. made that mistake once. that sucked.
