Is Ozzy better with Sabbath or his solo career? What do you think?

Black Sabbath is better although Ozzy Osbourne does have some great stuff like Suicide Solution and lots of other tunes we know and love. Also the tours he did with Joe Holmes. I wish I could have gone to every Ozzy Osbourne concert that had Joe Holmes. I went to the last three, so I'm happy. Black Sabbath is better because every Ozzy Osbourne song has to have a solo in the middle of the song. I mean when you listen to alot of it you just get tired of hearing that. It isn't like that with Black Sabbath. Bill Ward is the most talented and best sounding musician to ever play the drums, and one of the most legendary drummers too. When Ozzy's voice blends with the Sabbath sound it is alot better and I think he's more comfortable performing with Black Sabbath so I think he is better with Black Sabbath then he is on any of his solo albums and the only live situation I think comes close is Ozzy Osbourne and Joe Holmes.

                                            and he didnt need them any ways....
but without sabbath there would be no metal bands

dio went on his own so did ozzy

so that left sabbath by its self!!

Sabbath for sure. they helped make him who he is today. Ozzy Osbourne is a living legend.

He was better in Sabbath becuase without them we probally wouldn't have metal and we wouldn't have this fourm.

Better with Sabbath. Infinately better, but still great on his own.

black sabbath is better. but, ozzy's solo shit is good too. blizzard of ozz is still one of my favs. ozzy solo is what got me into metal. my dad would listen to the no more tears album 24/7 when i was kid. that and metallica and skid row.

Sabbath is a better backing band for Ozzy,  you just can't hold a candle to the jocks of Sabbath's live shows.  Those 4 guys bring an energy and years of expierence that none of Ozzy's supergroups have ever quite had, yet it sucks to see Ozzy not be able to do some of his great solo songs.  Could you imagine how great some of those songs would have been had Sabbath been the band that played them.  Ozzy has always had great musicians around him, but Black Sabbath is a GREAT BAND!

i tend ta like the sabbath stuff, but his solo cds are kick ass also esp with zackie on guitar. will be interesting ta see new band.

Ozzy is extemely proud of his solo career,.....I love both his Sabbath years and his solo material,,, but I`m with the Ozzman on this one........
