I fucking love this song! But, apparently Phil Soussan stole this song from Steve Overland of FM. I've heard Steves demo of the song and it is definatley similar. This gives Ozzy every reason in the world to be pissed at Phil Soussan! If I were Ozzy I would definatley have a grudge on Phil Soussan for any lawsuit I could have potentialy had. Luckily Ozzy has avoided them.
Now correct me if im wrong...if shot in the dark WAS stolen...that would be a damn good reason to
A) Take the Ultimate Sin off the shelves
B) Not include the song in the Essential Ozzy
(just a thought)
for anyone that cares you can actually download the supposed demo and read up a little more about it on this web page

Bottom line...no need to be mad at Ozzy...if anyone took this...it was Phil
...its still a bad ass song thou
