I like Nu Metal.. for the fact it keeps all the posers out of real metal.  
When real metal takes over again, it's gonna be horrible, little teenies everywhere OMG METTULLLLL!! LAWL

I mean yeah, I'm a teenager.. (dunno how to change the age on my profile.. >.>)

The only reason nu metal exists is to make people money off the teenage anger thing.
That being said, it has gotten a lot of people to take note of it on the radio, then branch out into other genres.  I know many people who say things like "Korn got me started, then I went on to things like Morbid Angel and Satyricon eventually and realized the radio shit sucks."
So there are pros and cons.

meh. most of it sucks. i do like some of it. i like godsmack, i don't consider them nu metal. i know people will disagree with me on this. if i like something, i like it, regardless of genre or label.
