Well sure, Revelations says god wins, but supposedly, he wrote the propaganda, or at least the followers did.  There have been very very few religions where the myths of the followers say that the gods will essentially lose.  The only one that comes to mind off the top of my head is Norse mythology, but I'm sure there are others.
To be honest, in the original interpretations of Judeo-christian myths, there was no "Hell" and no "Satan" as we know of them today.  Satan was originally cast as the ACCUSER of mankind, not any source of temptation, and was just doing a dirty job in order to show which of the race of man were too sinful to be with Yahweh at the end of time.  In fact, in the fullness of time, the Accuser would take his place at the side of the god in what we know as Heaven.  It's changed over the years, primarily so the Catholic church could have a reason to vilify the horned gods of the pagan groups around Rome.
