personally, I think that its a stretch to even call them a band. I like to refer to them as the freakshow to amuse you while waiting for a band to come out on stage.

I saw them in concert in 2000 and I loved it, but they've gone down hill over the years ever since Corey started Stone Sour.

Slipknot are very talented band whether some of you agree or not. Especially Corey Taylor that guy is one of the best vocalist of our generation hands down.

Slipknot's new album is going to blow everyone away wait and see.

Stone Sour is also a decent band.

Slipknot is a joke.  It takes 9 members to make a sound not even HALF as rich as your average 4 or 5 piece band in actual metal.  And to reiterate the above statement... they have a CLOWN that hits TRASHCANS.  This is like the Blue Man Group, but infinitely more lame.  The only thing I think is worthwhile about Slipknot is Jordison, and it's just a shame to see him wasting his life in such a crap band.

They are and always have been awsome to me. I know that their masks and stage show is a gimmic and they are definitely not the hardest of metal bands, but they put on a great show and most of their music is pretty good.

haha wow, actually having 9 members in the band makes it more difficult if you ask me. More people to mess up the song and more instruments to incorporate into a single song. Having a 3 peice band is a lot easier to play music than a 9 piece.

I agree Joey is one of if not the best drummer in the world today, and I don't feel he is wasting his time in Slipknot if it wasn't for Slipknot he wouldn't be where he is today.

I know all of you liked Slipknot early on but now like most every other band turn your back on them and say they sold out and they don't play the music they used to.

Same thing happened with Korn, True fans understand a band has to change up their sound and grow musically as a band and also that they might want to try new things, and make music for themselves and not just music they know will sell better.
