Ozzy or Dio?

Well... I love both singers, each for different reasons. Why should I have to make one choice for all time? Some days, I listen to Ozzy solo. Some days, I listen to Dio solo. Some days, I listen to Ozzy-Sabbath. Some days, I listen to Dio-Sabbath. Some days, I listen to Sabbath with Ian Gillan, Ray Gillen, Glenn Hughes, or Tony Martin.

Maybe a casual fan could give you a true answer here, but I've been a hardcore fan of all those Sabbath guys for about 27 years now, so this question is too broad or general for me personally. Just because I thought the Heaven and Hell show was ten times better than last year's Ozzfest, doesn't mean I will ever give up on Ozzy.

This is, after all, an Ozzy board. Do you really expect most people here to be objective? Most are going to say Ozzy is their fav. People on the Dio board will tell you Dio is their fav. What do you expect?

In the past, I've seen many people here bashing Dio because they think it makes them a bigger Ozzy fan. It doesn't. It just makes them a more limited Black Sabbath fan.

I consider myself very fortunate to be living in a time where I can see concerts by Ozzy solo, Ozzy Sabbath, Dio solo, and Dio Sabbath. I feel very lucky to be able to get such variety. Ultimately, I'm a black Sabbath fan - and I'm glad to be spoiled by all this great music.
